A Trip to Krakow

This past weekend we took the train with Magda and her daughter to Krakow. It was just an overnight trip, but it was jammed packed! We left on Saturday morning and got home at 10:30pm Sunday evening!! What a beautiful city and we wished we could have stayed longer to explore more. We saw Old Town, St. Peter and Paul Church, St. Mathew's Church, the Ghetto, the Jewish Quarter, Magdalina Square, the Royal Castle.....that was just Saturday! On Sunday, we drove to Auschwitz, The birth place of Pope John Paul, and Czestochowa and saw The Black Madonna.

What an amazing adventure!

Beautiful pictures! It's wonderful that you are able to see some of the other cities! My son will love seeing Magda's pictures also!

Wow! What an adventure! It's so great that you have all these pictures to share with your kids when they are old enough to really appreciate where they came from.

Wow - Krakow looks amazing. I really wish we could have made it there ourselves. You've got to love the person who invented the portable stroller!

Great pictures!! Glad you are still having a great time and making the most of your time there. It was neat to see a picture of the infamous Magda!

I said it before and I'll say it again. Wow, you two are brave! We were considering a trip to Krakow too, but didn't know how BJ would handle the long train ride. YOu took two! How did they do? It's great seeing Magda again! Thanks for the great updates!

What wonderful pictures. They bring back so many memories of our journey to Krakow. I am so glad that you are venturing out to see the sights. Poland is such a beautiful country...see all you can/all that the children will allow before you come home. Have you been to the uprising museum yet? If not, it is a must see!!! Also, if you haven't been, Wilanow is very cool too. If weather permits, the kids would love it, but know it is a long bus ride to the end of town. http://pictures.polandforall.com/warsaw-royal-wilanow-palace-and-park.html
