Certificate of Citizenship

For those keeping tabs on time lines, we received both Adam and Aggie's Certificate of Citizenship today! It took about 90 days. I think our paper work stated about 45 days, however, we forgot you probably needed to multiply that times two! I think at this point we can now apply for social security numbers.

Just a couple of random pictures to share below. The first is a nature walk we took at a local park. If you look closely at the flower picture you will see a nice, pretty Bee smack dab in the middle. Mind you.....when I was taking the picture, my face was nearly touching the flower and I had NO idea there was a bee there! (I am deathly afraid of bees)
I was looking at the beautiful yellow color!!

Adam and Aggie walked pretty well.....for awhile, okay, maybe just 20 yards. Then we got tired, hot, needed a snack and turned around.

Brown Bear! Brown Bear! What do you see? I see a little boy staring at me!

I SWEAR Adam LIKES to Vacuum!

Many thanks need to be shouted from a mountain top for the Josten Family! Without the help of Jenni, Joanna, Julie, Minda and John, Lee and I would not have been able to enjoy the most wonderful steak dinner and solve the world's problems over a fabulous bottle of wine.

It was our second official date night and this time Adam and Aggie slept overnight at their cousins house. Lee and I slept in till 7am! YEAH!!! Yes, I am cheering about sleeping in till 7 am......Mark this as another one of those things we are still adjusting to!!! Have a great day everyone!

I'm glad you had a date night and Adam and Aggie were able to have a sleep over. I can't believe you have been home less than 3 months! You can send Adam and his vacuum to my house next. :)

I did not even know about the certificate of citizenship. I think we get so focused on getting the kids home we don't worry about those things that take place once they are home.
There is a picture similar to yours at the Denver Zoo in the wild cat exhibit. The only difference is that instead of bee showing up in the picture it is a mountain lion. It is the scariest things ever. It is a grandma holding her grandchild with a mountain lion about 8-10 feet behind them in some trees. They had no idea until they got the picture developed.
Hooray for a date night and sleeping in! I am sure you appreciate it more now!

Thanks for the continued updates! I love all of the photos and the stories. Funny how 7 a.m. seems "late" now:) I remember the day we met for coffee (maybe around 9:30 a.m.), I had a few cups even before that time. Hope to see you again soon.

Hooray for trustworthy babysitters out there everywhere! Where on earth would we be without them? Sounds like you guys had a great time out on the town and relaxing at home to the late, late hour of 7:00...

We just had a date night recently, too. I sure love them, except the part where we purposefully try not to talk about Michal and just end up staring at each other in silence. Of course we always cave in. What did we ever talk about before we had him? The pics are fabulous!!! It looks like you can check off that box next to 'happy'.

Congratulations on the certificates of citizenship! I can see how you didn't see the bee on the flower. I would have missed it if I didn't know to kook for it. That would be like me taking a picture of something with a spider in it. UGH! I can't even look at spiders. I love the oil of Adam vacuuming. Too cute!
