Life has changed....Alot! All good change, but changed nonetheless. For example, Aggie fussed one night from 12-4am and when the alarm clock went off at 6:00am for church Lee and I just wanted to "Sleep in". There is no such thing as sleeping in any more. On an average, the dishwasher is loaded and unloaded at least twice per day whereas in the past it was used maybe once every 3 days. This past weekend, I did 8 loads of laundry!!

But in between all the new chaos, Lee and I have experienced some great Mommy & Daddy moments. Aggie & Adam's hugs are like no other.....their tiny arms wrap as tightly as possible around us and there is always a little "squeeze". One night Adam was weepy and the two of us just held each other for 20 minutes in silence. Aggie rolled her eyes at one of Daddy's corny jokes and I high-fived her! We had salmon, rice and steamed broccoli for dinner and Adam ate everything on his plate! Aggie runs to Daddy's arms and squeals with joy when he picks her up from day care. During a stormy night, Adam crawled into our bed and snuggled close.

What are your Mommy & Daddy moments?

Such wonderful life changes! I can't WAIT!

Is that a Little People Airplane? I'm looking for an airplane to take with us, but I can't seem to find a small one. I was lucky enough to find some Oballs at a bookstore in my old college town. That was a random and fun find.

LOVE your post! Those special moments... How do you manage to put them all into one paragraph. I need to learn how to write more in less.

Sounds like your kids are adjusting to your family life and settling down. I'm so happy for you!

I don't know if you are sick of hearing this yet....but your kids are so darn cute! You are going to have to keep a close eye on them when they are older! Adam probably has to chase the girls off already! I love all of your parent moments! Can't wait to have them myself!

Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Julie: Yes, it is a little people airplane! It was a handmedown from Lee's nephew. You will love the Oball! Your son will be able to grasp it really well! (Plus it squishes in the suite case)

Thank you Adoptive Parents of Three "mybrid"!!!

Thank you too, Ramie!!

How wonderful. I love it when Molly climbs in bed with us during a storm or when something wakes her up during the night. Knowing they feel that sense of protection and peace is such a great feeling. Your kids are adorable.

So sweet. Glad to hear your updates now that you are home. I love it when Alissa says, "my mommy" or "my daddy" with such excitement.

Yay! We love to hear about your moments settling in. I hear you about the laundry and dishes, and we only have three of us in the house! I love it when K says "Mama, mama, mama, mama" to get my attention. Then sometimes she just makes up something nonsensical to say like we are having a conversation! So sweet :)

I love the pictures of your kiddos!

I hear you about the laundry... I have a load of laundry going at all times. I'm too scared to stop! But then I look in our side room and see my two boys laughing hysterically at a joke only they think is funny and I know exactly why we keep doing it for them. Although - don't get me wrong - they are old enough to load and empty the dishwasher on their own now. Woo hoo for big kids! :)
