Happy Easter!

HE is Risen! HE is Risen indeed!

We awoke to cannons exploding and singing amplified at 6am and ran to look out our apartment window. In the courtyard below, a processional was occurring at Our Lady of St. Mary Church! Happy Easter Everyone! Over the past few days, thousands of people have been throughout Old Town Square. It has been truly fascinating to watch. Over the last 3 years, Lee and I have hosted Easter Brunch for about 25 people at our home. It’s a special time for the “Weyers” and “Hanson” families to come together. This year we celebrate with Aunt Gina and our family of four. Today is bitter sweet. Lee leaves to go home tomorrow to go back to work. Aggie, Adam and I will stay for 2 more weeks. It’s the final leg of the journey, one we will never forget and one we will treasure forever. Alleluia!

Happy Easter to you all! I remember all too well how I felt as Karl left for home while we were still in Warsaw... Hang in there -- you have reserve troops to assist. :)

The silver lining? How much our Chris missed Karl... And how excited he was to see Karl again back home in America! Oh, how Aggie and Adam will love seeing Lee again back in the States!

I see the easter bunny brought some bunnies too! You are so blessed to have a sister and parents to come stay with you these last few weeks. I can't imagine how anxious you are now to just be home. Take care!

Happy Easter indeed!!! I loved being able to spend some holidays in Poland, so I am glad that you are able to spend Easter there to absorb some of the festivities centered around the season.

I couldn't' imagine my spouse leaving, so my thoughts are with you now more than ever as you finish this part of your journey. Enjoy the sights as much as possible. As anxious as you are to get home, if you are anything like us, you will one day wish you were back there.

God Bless
